Honestly, why go into debt for yet another set of post surnname initials? This DNP push reminds me of the Nursing Diagnosis controvesy I experienced a few decades ago. And all that did was create a whole nomenclature that nobody else on the healthcare team understood, was not reimbursed by third party payors and added yet MORE useless documentation requirements for already owerwhelmed floor nurses.
