Marketing Your NP Practice

View Comments (0)Print ArticleEmail Article

Nurse practitioner Joe Marra, who owns Urgent Care Center in Altoona, Pa., recommends radio and TV ads for NPs looking to ramp up their marketing.

"Anecdotally, I see a large return on this investment. I have not statistically run the number but simply ask all new patients how they heard of me, and a very high percent state that they saw me on TV or heard me on the radio," says Marra. And, he points out, the ads introduce the public to nurse practitioners.

Watch and listen to his ads below. For more about Marra's practice, follow his posts on the NP Practice Owners blog.
